The Hope Hoot is back!

After a nationwide three-year hiatus, The Hope Hoot returns to Blackheath Halls on the 22nd of April to raise money and awareness for frontrunning allergy charities; Anaphylaxis UK and Allergy UK. Once again, the evening will honour the memory of local schoolboy Ruben Bousquet, who tragically lost his life in 2019 to an allergic reaction.

As with the last Hootenanny, it promises to be a night of comedy, entertainment and a bunch of music from stars of the West End and beyond.

Confirmed Appearances by: (in no particular order) The Reduced Shakespeare CompanyThe UkeladeezAJ WanderThe Military Wives Choir (Brompton and Invicta), Jack SchwabGene Morrissey, Black Wolf BluesPamela Blair (Beauty and the Beast, Curtains), The Ambassadors of Sound and Polly Paulusma

Many of the artists appearing have direct connections with dealing with allergies and are happy to be sharing the stage with each other for such an important cause. The evening will be MC’d by award-winning comedian Brandon Burke.

All profits from the evening will be split between the two charities and donated in the names of Ruben Bousquet and Jack Schwab.
