There are many ways in which you can get involved in singing at Blackheath Halls. You don’t need to have had any previous singing/musical experience or be able to read music – just a passion for singing!

Choir projects

You will rehearse a piece as a choir once a week for a few months before putting on a performance, often with our Blackheath Halls Orchestra. We find many people return for most/all of the choir projects, but you can take part in as many as you like.

We would like to invite singers to join the choir for Verdi’s Requiem, to be performed at Blackheath Halls on Sun 23 Apr 2023, conducted by Chris Stark and with professional soloists and our Blackheath Halls Orchestra.

We have two courses for you to choose from:
Verdi Requiem (Long Course) starting Mon 23 Jan 7.30pm
Verdi Requiem (Short Course) for singers who have performed Verdi Requiem before starting Mon 13 Mar 7.30pm
Verdi Requiem Performance Sun 23 Apr, 7.30pm

Easter Musical Theatre Course
