There are many ways in which you can get involved in singing at Blackheath Halls. You don’t need to have had any previous singing/musical experience or be able to read music – just a passion for singing!
Choir projects
You will rehearse a piece as a choir once a week for a few months before putting on a performance, often with our Blackheath Halls Orchestra. We find many people return for most/all of the choir projects, but you can take part in as many as you like.
Our next choir project will begin in January 2024; please email Rose Ballantyne [email protected] to be added to our Singers’ Mailing List and we will then let you know when more information is available.
Blackheath Goes Gospel
Blackheath goes Gospel runs annually at Blackheath Halls between September and November, concluding with a concert in our Great Hall. Come and learn gospel songs as a choir with our fantastic leaders, Lena Wright and Abe Hampton.
Our next course starts on Mon 16 Oct further details can be found here Blackheath Goes Gospel Autumn 2023 Course. For those wanting to build on their vocal skills why not try our Advanced Blackheath Goes Gospel Course
