Blackheath Halls Opera has been producing operas annually since 2007, involving members of our community, professional opera singers and production teams and students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire. It is a really unique project that brings together musicians of all walks of life to create high-quality operas accompanied by a full orchestra.

Our 2022 Production | Candide by Leonard Bernstein

(I enjoyed) being involved in a lively and most rewarding opera production with such a positive and supportive creative team. They all ensured that the performers whatever their ability and experience were valued and essential to the opera – Chorus member, Venus and Adonis 2021
