Julian Jacobson enjoys an international career as soloist, as chamber musician with many prominent artists, and teacher, appearing in over 40 countries and making regular visits to the Far East. He has played with the principal British orchestras, as well as appearing in leading UK festivals. He has been particularly acclaimed for his performances of the Beethoven Sonatas, of which he has given eleven complete cycles. He has given two Monday lunchtime recitals at the Halls with his duo partner Mariko Brown and they will be returning next year.

One of Britain’s creative and distinctive pianists, Julian Jacobson, is acclaimed for the vitality, colour and insight he brings to his enormous repertoire ranging across all styles and periods.
