Since her Wigmore Hall debut in 1997, Sarah-Jane Bradley has built an outstanding international career as both soloist and chamber musician. A champion of new music, she has premiered concertos by David Matthews, Paul Patterson and Matthew Taylor, and performed with leading orchestras including the Philharmonia, Hallé, BBC Symphony Orchestra and Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
Sarah-Jane’s extensive discography includes seven acclaimed recordings of British viola concertos for Dutton Epoch and recital discs for Naxos. As a former founder member of the Leopold String Trio and Sorrel Quartet, she has recorded for Hyperion, Chandos and Naxos. A prizewinner at the 1994 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition, she now serves on its executive committee and teaches at the Royal College of Music, The Purcell School and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
