We are proud to present our wonderful opera production with a cast of exceptional professional singers joined onstage by our 80 strong chorus, made up from members of our community aged 8-80+ accompanied by the Blackheath Halls Orchestra.

A classic tale of romance, betrayal and revenge
Returning home from military service, Turriddu is devastated and incensed to find his fiancée Lola married to another man (Alfio).
In revenge, Turiddu seduces another girl from the village (Santuzza), and when Lola learns of their relationship, she becomes jealous and they start an affair.
When Santuzza discovers his infidelity, she confronts Alfio and when all wounded parties are in ‘the know’, all hell and passion break loose, sealing the fate of all involved.
