This event is now SOLD OUT
We are very excited to present our orchestra playing a dual programme of two very different pieces of music from very different eras.
The glorious Symphonic Dances were the final major composition by Rachmaninov whilst living in American in the height of the second World War.
In a dramatic contrast, and to make this concert even more special, a choir of 100 local school children will join the orchestra to perform I Am I Say, a powerful and thought-provoking contemporary piece about climate change by composer and pianist Kate Whitley, who co-founded the Multi-Story Orchestra in Peckham, South London.
