David Farr is the screenwriter behind the BAFTA-winning adaptation of The Night Manager and the action thriller Hanna, and a former Associate Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company. His theatrical background includes co-founding Cambridge Talking Tongues theatre company with Rachel Weisz while at university, where their ‘poor theatre’ aesthetic won the Guardian Student Drama Award at Edinburgh Fringe in 1991.
