Blackheath Halls Opera Images from 2019: Donate Now

The ongoing situation with the Coronavirus means that we need your support more than ever.

We run over 800 performances, workshops and activities annually, without any public subsidy, and are extremely dependent on income from our programme of events, so being closed for an indefinite period is a huge challenge for us.

We recognise that everyone has different circumstances, and this is a difficult time for many individuals and organisations, but if you are in a position to help we would be enormously grateful.

Your gift will help to see us through this crisis so we can re-open our doors when it is safe to do so. It will also enable us to develop activity online to entertain and engage our loyal audiences and community engagement participants, as well as provide work for some of our wonderful, talented freelance artists during closure.

Watch our latest online performance of 'Tre sbirri, una carrozza' from Puccini's Tosca

Featuring Matthew Rose singing the role of Scarpia alongside members of the Blackheath Halls Chorus and Blackheath Halls Orchestra all singing and playing from their homes, we are hugely proud of this rousing celebrating of creative and community sprit during these difficult times for the arts industry and we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we all have putting it together!

You can also enjoy our Virtual Opera Gala Night performed live online on Sun May 10th by clicking here
