Step into the spotlight and lose yourself in a world of show-stopping music. Whether you’re a singer or an instrumentalist, this is your chance to live out your musical theatre dreams — even if just for a day.
Led by the wonderful Ashley Beauchamp, this immersive one-day course invites you to rehearse and perform some of the most beloved numbers in musical theatre history.

Share the results with your friends and family as you perform on stage in our Great Hall as the grand finale!
Timings For The Day
10am – 1pm Singers’ rehearsal (with piano)
10.30am – 1.30pm Orchestra rehearsal
2.30pm – 5pm The magic happens: choir and orchestra come together
5:30pm – 6pm Sharing performance for friends and family
If you are a singer wanting to take part
Everyone is welcome to join us regardless of experience and expertise. Just pay your course fee and we will be in touch a couple of weeks before the event.
If you are an instrumentalist wanting to take part
We have spaces in the orchestra for violins, double basses, French horns and trumpets. For those who haven’t joined Blackheath Halls Orchestra before, please pay your course fee and email Rose Ballantyne r.ballantyne@blackheathhalls.com to let her know which instrument you play.
Music will be shared a couple of weeks in advance of the project.
Course fee: £45 | £30 for under 30s
Open to participants aged 18 and over.
