We’re thrilled to announce an amazing opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside members of renowned choral ensemble The Sixteen in a spectacular performance of Handel’s Messiah.
This extraordinary project will bring together 100 community singers, vocal students from Trinity Laban, professional soloists and singers from one of the most celebrated professional choral ensembles under the baton of The Sixteen’s Associate Conductor Eamonn Dougan, accompanied by the The Sixteen’s professional orchestra.
Soak up a whole day of rehearsing alongside singers from The Sixteen and their Associate Conductor Eamonn Dougan before performing Messiah in the Great Hall that same evening.
Rehearsal timing: Sun 15 Feb, 10am – 4.30pm
Performance: Sun 15 Feb, 7pm – 9.15pm
This course is suitable for singers with some experience of singing in a choir. Full practice tracks and music will be shared after booking, allowing you to prepare your part before the rehearsal.
How to Book
We are aiming for the choir to comprise 30 sopranos, 30 altos, 20 tenors and 20 basses. If you are a soprano or alto we would recommend booking your place sooner rather than later.
