The Elgin String Quartet performs Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 13 in B-flat major, Op. 130, one of the composer’s greatest late works.
Written in 1825, this six-movement quartet ranges from playful and energetic to deeply emotional. Highlights include a lively German dance and the famous Cavatina, one of Beethoven’s most beautiful slow movements.
